In the Classroom & Beyond 
The PTA is a vital part of our school community. It is through the PTA that parents and staff members interact for the mutual benefit of our children.
The PTA holds several social events during the school year that help build our school community spirit. They also sponsor fund raising events that, in turn, provide funds to purchase special materials and activities beyond the school budget. Finally, the PTA steps in whenever needed to provide for the health, safety and educational benefit of our children. Room parents, are in contact with parents on an ongoing basis.
The parents at Tashbar Torat Hayim are a very active and integral part of the education process at our school. The PTA is a well organized group which benefits the school with proceeds from numerous fund-raisers. Parent volunteers are always wanted.
One of the easiest ways to get involved in the PTA and get acquainted with other parents is to attend our meetings. We discuss upcoming events and parents have the opportunity to volunteer for new and ongoing committees, special projects and fundraising events. Fundraising is an essential part of enhancing our school's programs and enables us to purchase major equipment and supplies for our children's education.
