The first priority of Tashbar Torat Hayim Hebrew Academy is to provide its students with a thorough and well-balanced curriculum in Torah. Our students thrive in the nurturing atmosphere provided by their mechanchim.
Our Torah Studies curriculum includes:
- Tanach
- Mishna
- Gemara
- Halacha
- Tefilah
- Hashkafa
- Hebrew Language
The rebbes and morot at Tashbar Torah Hayim encourage their students to strive for excellence, and stress the critical thinking and skills that are needed to be successful in all their learning.
Our boys are taught Chumash with Ta’amim and are instilled with the tools and self-confidence necessary to translate and understand the text independently.
Upon graduation from Tashbar Torat Hayim, our students are prepared to attend the high school of their choice. Former Tashbar students have gone on to learn at Bais Yaakov of Los Angeles, Bais Yaakov of Denver, Mesivta Birkas Yitzchak, Mesivta of Greater Los Angeles, Ner Aryeh, Ohr Haemet Institute, Valley Torah High School and Yeshiva University High School of Los Angeles.
